The mall as of 2007[update] is going through an extensive renovation that has moved the old 10 screen theater to a replacement Cinemark 16 screen "stadium style seating" theater in the north ring road area on Avenue O-8. The vacated theater pad will house new restaurants and a new corridor is being built along it for another 31 stores. The Pruneyard Shopping Center is a sprawling 250,000 square foot lifestyle shopping center located within a mixed use development in the City of Campbell, California. The Shopping Center features a movie theater, Trader Joe's, over 15 eating establishments and 35 retail, service and entertainment businesses. The Pruneyard is located at the intersection of Campbell and Bascom Avenues, just east of State Route 17. Over a hundred years ago, Victoria Ward and her husband Curtis Perry Ward, shared a unique business partnership and created an estate extending from Thomas Square to the shore. Their former home, "Old Plantation", is the site of Blaisdell Concert Hall. When Curtis died in 1882, Victoria Ward and her daughters carried on the family business which continues to influence Honolulu's commercial and retail development to this day.
