Opening for business in March, 1973, It was named due to its close proximity to Brigham Young University even though now it is even closer to Utah Valley University. South Towne Center is a shopping mall in Sandy, Utah, located just east of I-15 on 10600 South. The property, built in 1986, contains 1,300,000 square feet of retail space with 150 stores and restaurants. It is managed by The Macerich Company. Source

Kahala Mall is home to a number of nationally and internationally recognized businesses, including Whole Foods Market, Apple Store, Macy's, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Radio Shack, Chili's and California Pizza Kitchen.
Local merchants and a number of independently-owned shops and restaurants can also be found within the mall perimeter. An eight-screen Consolidated Theatres movie theater is nestled into one corner of the mall. Waialae Bowl, the only bowling center within several miles of the neighborhood, was somewhat interestingly built into a McDonald's, at the corner opposite the movie theater. Unfortunately, it has since closed down (not related to the flood, however.)
The movie theater in this mall was closed in March 2006. It has since reopened. The closing occurred as a result of flooding from heavy rains. The flood broke a hole through the wall of the theater and flowed into the mall, and parts of the ground floor had 3-6 inches of rain water. Many shops suffered substantially; some never reopened. Southglenn Mall is a 936,000 square foot, enclosed regional shopping center located in Centennial, CO. It is conveniently located at the corner of Arapahoe Road and South University Boulevard.
Southglenn Mall features three department stores. Dillard's, Foley's, and Sears anchor the 90 specialty stores and kiosks found in the Center.

Its address is 32100 Las Vegas Boulevard South, just off Interstate 15 at the California state line, some 40 miles (64 km) southwest of Las Vegas. The mall has more than 100 stores and restaurants including Versace, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, and Last Call from Neiman Marcus.
A shuttle bus runs between the mall and Las Vegas.
The mall is divided into two themed courts; The Urban Court and the South Beach Court, and is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Fashion Outlets are connected to the Primm Valley Resort, and the Ford car in which Bonnie and Clyde were killed is on display between the mall and the resort's casino.
