Queens' MarketPlace is a 135,000 square foot community lifestyle center located in the heart of the Kohala Coast in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Island of Hawaii. The center is the sister project to the famous Kings' Shops located across the street. Currently, under construction, the center will feature a 20,000 square foot Gourmet Food & Wine Market, sit-down restaurants, a 5,500 square foot food court, and 90,000 square feet of additional retail. The center will also feature Waikoloa Cultural Garden and Waikoloa Performance Garden which will showcase live music, film festivals and other cultural and community events throughout the year. Pearlridge Center is the largest indoor, super-regional shopping center in Hawaii with the island's only monorail system that transports customers between Uptown and Downtown Pearlridge and overlooks historic Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial.

Kahala Mall is home to a number of nationally and internationally recognized businesses, including Whole Foods Market, Apple Store, Macy's, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Radio Shack, Chili's and California Pizza Kitchen. <br> Local merchants and a number of independently-owned shops and restaurants can also be found within the mall perimeter. An eight-screen Consolidated Theatres movie theater is nestled into one corner of the mall. Waialae Bowl, the only bowling center within several miles of the neighborhood, was somewhat interestingly built into a McDonald's, at the corner opposite the movie theater. Unfortunately, it has since closed down (not related to the flood, however.) <br> The movie theater in this mall was closed in March 2006. It has since reopened. The closing occurred as a result of flooding from heavy rains. The flood broke a hole through the wall of the theater and flowed into the mall, and parts of the ground floor had 3-6 inches of rain water. Over a hundred years ago, Victoria Ward and her husband Curtis Perry Ward, shared a unique business partnership and created an estate extending from Thomas Square to the shore. Their former home, "Old Plantation", is the site of Blaisdell Concert Hall. When Curtis died in 1882, Victoria Ward and her daughters carried on the family business which continues to influence Honolulu's commercial and retail development to this day.

Centerstage features over 500 performances a year including the weekly Ala Moana Center Keiki Hula Show on Sunday morning.
