"Pilates is an exercise that has been practiced in the US since the 1920's. It is named after it’s creator Joseph H. Pilates. The exercises are composed of many controlled, precise movements, designed to stretch and strengthen, creating long lean muscles without bulk. The exercises require concentration and deep controlled breaths for a complete mind body workout. The focus of the exercises is on the abdominal and back muscles (often called the “core” or “powerhouse” muscles) to build strength and agility in a balanced method. "Our Pilates studio in San Diego, is specialized in Pilates Reformer group classes. You will be using the Reformer Pilates Machine during the entire Pilates Session. It's a great value, since the group Pilates classses are more affordable then a private Pilates session, yet you will have plenty of attention since the number of students is limited to only 6 per class. Great diference in quality when compared to other places that charges about the same but have many more machines. SAVE BIG!!! You don’t need to take a Private Pilates class in order to get started. Our “Pilates Level 1-2”, “Pilates All Levels” or “Intro to Power Pilates” classes are designed for beginners and you will get plenty of instruction and attention as you save $$$.
